Hotpoint WD440
Hotpoint is a major white goods manufacturer and began in the UK in the early 1900s, with the introduction of a new electric iron. This iron had a heating element which reached the length of the iron and converged, resulting in a hot point, which is where the name "Hotpoint" came about. In 1911 the Hotpoint company officially came into existence. Hotpoint is arguably best known for its washing machines, although they manufacture the full range of white goods.
